FIORETTA is equal parts a treasure hunt, a mystery, a travelog, and a family saga of Randol 'Randy' Schoenberg – grandson of the renowned composer and internationally known personage as the man behind WOMAN IN GOLD, the Ryan Reynolds-led film adaptation of his real-life quest to return the Klimt paintings to their rightful owners – as he recovers, investigates, and traces his family history across Europe from present day through a time before bound books.

Accompanied by his 18-year-old son Joey, the pair encounter kings, mystics, and a false messiah, as well as the long-forgotten ordinary people who witnessed Europe's distant and recent past: the expulsions, the Holocaust, Communism, and, most recently, the refugee crisis precipitated by Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Although Randy is renowned for recovering Nazi-looted art, his greatest achievement might just be reuniting the fractured and scattered shards of his own family.
