[REC]

REC is a Spanish-language, found-footage horror film from the late 2000s that pushed the genre into terrifying new territory. Set in Barcelona, it follows a television reporter and her cameraman as they accompany emergency responders to an apartment building, only to become trapped inside a rapidly escalating nightmare. Blending elements of The Blair Witch Project and Cannibal Holocaust with Romero-esque dread, REC delivers relentless tension from start to finish. Presented in Spanish with subtitles.
